- Are you joyfully expecting twins, triplets, or more?
- Now that they've arrived, are you trying to figure out how to juggle the babies?
- Are you experiencing the terrible twos (times two or three!) in your home?
- Are you trying to decide if your twins/triplets should be in the same class at school?
- Do you want to make friends with other mothers of multiples?
The Monroe County Mothers of Multiples is a non-profit organization providing support and an exchange of ideas for parents and guardians of multiples in and around Monroe County, MI. This is accomplished through meetings, social gatherings, guest speakers, meals for new parents, newsletters, and more.
We are all mothers of twins (or more!), and we have been where you are now. We are here to help you through this exciting, but busy time. MCMOM is a member of the National Organization of Mother of Twins Club and the Michigan Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs.
Our monthly meetings serve several purposes:
- A well-deserved night out and break from the family for Mom.
- Camaraderie with other M.O.M.s (Mothers of Multiples) who are going through what you are or have been there.
- Get advice from members whose multiples are older than yours.
- Fun and relaxation

(While You're Still Pregnant)
- You may not have time to make contacts right after your babies' birth.
- Find out the best equipment before you buy.
- Get good advice from people who've been there.
- It is easier to accept help from people you have already gotten to know.
- We're always getting rid of our old baby stuff, and we all have two (or three) of everything.
- Attend a play group and see what it's really like.
- New supportive friends are great to have anytime.
- No one will be amazed by your size and wonder if you are going to give birth any minute.
- You will be signed up for our "Meals for Moms" program.
- You deserve a night out.
